
2017 Gravel Worlds
2017 was the last year we did a “loop” course around Lincoln. Going counter-clockwise around Lincoln with stops in Valparaiso, Malcom, Denton, Roca, and Bennet. It was also the first year adding the Privateer 75! 2017 was the start of Alison Tetricks domination of Gravel Worlds. She would go on to win 2017, 2018 and 2019 becoming the only 3-peat GW Champion!

2016 Gravel Worlds
By 2016, Gravel Worlds had hit its stride. The event had found a home in Fallbrook on the north side of Lincoln and was growing into one of the most respected gravel races in the country. The field was deeper than ever, the roads were relentless, and the community spirit that defined the race was stronger than ever. Riders came from across the U.S. — some chasing a podium, others simply hoping to cross the finish line before the day was done.

2015 Gravel Worlds
This was the first year we moved the start/finish to the Fallbrook Neighborhood on the north side of Lincoln where the race was held up until 2023. We are so thankful for the memories we created while in Fallbrook!

2014 Gravel Worlds
The 5th edition of Gravel Worlds, held on August 23, 2014, marked the second and final year the event started and finished at Conestoga State Park, just south of Lincoln, Nebraska. This year's course featured a clockwise loop around Lincoln, passing through towns like Garland, Malcolm, and Hickman, and introduced a significant challenge with elevation gains exceeding 10,000 feet for the first time in the event's history.

2013 Gravel Worlds
The 2013 edition of Gravel Worlds marked the first of two consecutive years the event started and finished at Conestoga State Park, located just south of Lincoln, Nebraska. This year's course featured a counterclockwise loop around Lincoln, passing through towns like Hickman, Bennet, and Malcolm, which served as self-supported oasis locations.

2012 Gravel Worlds
The 2012 edition of Gravel Worlds, held on August 18, marked a significant evolution in the event's history. Building upon the foundation laid in 2010 and 2011, the 2012 race introduced a new course, a more structured race format, and an expanded field of participants.

2010 Gravel Worlds
On Saturday, August 21, 2010, the cycling community witnessed the first edition of what would become the Gravel Worlds — a grassroots gravel race conceived by Corey Godfrey and the Pirate Cycling League (PCL) and supported by a passionate local cycling community. This first event was part challenge, part experiment, but it set the tone — competitive, adventurous, full of grit — for all editions that followed.
